Chakra Balancing

Chakra comes from the Sanskrit word meaning "wheel." There are 7 different chakras; the first starts at your crown and each are placed at intervals along the length of your spine. Each chakra is integrated neurophysiologically, meaning that each one plays a role in how well your nervous system functions.  These "wheels" channel your life force, emotions, thoughts, and memories.  Most of us have energetic blocks that are created by energy-sabotaging habits. When these habits control your life, the result is a chakra imbalance, preventing you from accessing our full vitality. Instead, you feel a mix of exhaustion, irritation, complacency, scattered thoughts and even poor health.  

This 60-minute class focuses on aligning the 7 chakras through yoga postures and pranayama, a practice known as controlled breathing. This results in a cleansing, balancing and opening of each chakra, which will elevate mood energy and increase your overall physical, mental and emotional health.

Couples Yoga

Yoga is a lifestyle. Engaging in the shared experience of couples yoga can bring your relationship to a higher realm of connection, communication and understanding as you build your life together. This 60-minute class provides the benefits of yoga to both of you, individually and as a couple, on and off the mat.  Examples of how your relationship can truly benefit include:

 - Building on the practice of non verbal communication, trust and patience as you experience these together.

- Bringing a calm and stability to your interactions, learning to act in a positive way instead of reacting to negative emotions.

- Embarking on a journey of peace together.

- Creating new experiences and memories together.

- Bringing the fun and sexy back to your relationship!

Yoga for Kids!

Children start developing positive habits at a young age, and build on these through their life. This 45-minute class provides your little one with a special, interactive adventure that builds strength, confidence and balance. Designed to introduce your child to mindfulness, it will help build a solid emotional foundation by teaching awareness of themselves and others. Parents are also welcome to join their little yogi for a fun bonding experience!

Private One-on-One

Sometimes the benefits of yoga are found in the peace of being alone, without the distractions inevitably found in a classroom. Sometimes our self-conciousness can get in the way of truly focused practice. Many are ready to take their practice to the next level, needing an advanced course. This is where customization can help you achieve your goals without sacrificing your individual needs. We can schedule a 60-minute class that helps provides either the usual routine, or I can develop a customized class based on your individual needs.

Ideas for customization include:

- Tailoring the practice around specific injuries that prevent you from enjoying a classroom routine.

- Leveling up your individual practice with advanced moves at your own pace.

- Obtaining hands-on assistance with new moves, or learning at your own pace because you are simply new to yoga.

Each class is fully customized, taking into account your specific needs and practice goals, as well as your individual body type, fitness/wellness goals and practice level. We can discuss options such as scheduling, doing remote sessions or prerecording classes so that even the most difficult scheduling challenges can be overcome.

Additionally, we can provide customized meal plans and nutritional goals, helping you reach overall success as you seek to change your lifestyle for the better.
